We are delighted that our International Women’s Day conference “Resounding Voices” will be hosted at St. Aidan’s College at Durham University. Until 1981 St. Aidan’s was the last women’s college at Durham University. It’s current principal is Susan Frenk is an inspiring academic who is equality, justice, diversity and, importantly to us, feminism. St. Aidan’s is the home to the Centre for Sex, Gender and Sexualities and the Centre for the Study of Jewish Culture, Society and Politics. Yesterday we visited the beautiful rooms and facilities of St. Aidan’s that Susan has made available for us, and we are looking forward to hosting you there!
